「 文化永續．城市創生：士林學之建構」
本計畫為教育部大學社會責任實踐( University Social Responsibility )計畫， 由計畫主持人黃秀端教授，帶領各領域教師施行的大學社會責任計畫(USR)團隊，以士林的宮廟、眷村、生態、飲食、教育等五個層面，讓學生與地方充分連結，相互學習與成長，以達到高等教育的社會實踐重要目的。並以「文史保存」與「在地人才培育」為主旨，將重現士林消失的集體記憶、有系統的建構士林文史資料庫、打造士林文史工作人才培育機制為目標。

University Social Responsibility (USR) Project, Soochow University, Taiwan
“Cultural Sustainability and Urban Revitalization: the Conception of Shilinology”
This is a University Social Responsibility (USR) project commissioned by the Ministry of Education and implemented by Professor Shiow-Duan Hawang, Soochow University, Taiwan, and the USR team consists of professors in the various disciplines from the School. Discoveries in the five dimensions of Shilin District, namely its temples, military dependents’ villages, ecology, food culture, and education would allow students of Soochow to be fully connected with the locality to learn and to grow together. The USR project is implemented in order to fulfill the vital purpose of social practice in higher education.

「前世と現世－昔日士林百年の風采を再現する」
本プロジェクトは、教育部（文部科学省）大学の社会的責任（University Social Responsibility）の実践計画で、東呉大学黃秀端教授が率いる各分野の専門家たちによる社会的責任（USR）チームが、士林の宮廟、眷村、生態、飲食、教育の五つの側面から計画した内容である。学生が地域と連携を取り、共に学習し成長することにより、高等教育の社会的責任を果たすことを目的とする。
